About me

Hi, I’m Pooja — photographer, stop-motion nerd, and unapologetic foodie.

For over 14 years I thrived in the world of advertising; collaborating, critiquing, and managing ad campaigns for brands big and small. I worked in ad agencies in Dubai and Amsterdam — two of the biggest business hubs in the world (crazy right?). It was fast paced, demanding, and I loved staying ahead of the curve. But after becoming a mom, something shifted.

I wanted to slow down, breathe a little, and spend more time crafting and less time buried in spreadsheets (thinking of forecasting meetings still gives me the heebie-jeebies).

But on a serious note, it was important for me to be present for my daughter. Full stop. And I do hope to inspire her to follow what lights her up.

Photography and stop motion caught my attention. I spent weekends experimenting, diving into courses and workshops, and slowly building my portfolio over the years. Now it’s what brings me the most joy. These days you’ll find me in my studio, usually barefoot and talking to my plants, coaxing products to spin, bounce, or do a little jig in stop motion.

I grew up in Dubai, spent over a decade in advertising between there and Amsterdam, and now pour that storytelling experience into every piece of content I create.

When I’m not shooting, I’m chasing my two-year-old, lifting weights for fun, or wandering the forests near home. I live in a small town in Gelderland, and this little corner of the Netherlands truly feels like home.
